Ive love The Tick! Comic, Cartoon or live action show its all great!
A friend posted a link of a youtube page with the live action show and I watched it again for the 20th time :P and I heard the call of justice telling e to drawing the Tick gang at there local Dinner, but after a big fight.
I cant remember the last time I had so much fun on a drawing that came out so fast!

A while back I was trying to do a series of drawings. Little vignettes of women relaxing drinking coffee, tea, smoking hooka, reading etc. So this is number 3 out of that series that I honestly have not been keeping up with vary well... : (
This was drawing out and done up in Flash then some light gradients in Photoshop.

I did a handful of drawings today that i hope to ink and maybe color digitally.
this is the first round. there are 3 gypsy in all but I've only drawn out the first 2 or the 2 poses i liked best.

Im horrible lately with keeping up with my illustration... and even worse with coloring them :P
So here is my attempt to fix that. I reached back and picked back up my drawing i did for a few months back. I did it in Photoshop originally but decided to take it into Flash and vectorized the lines and do the flat colors in Flash as well. Then put it back into Photoshop for some soft color overlays and shadows.

so here it is!

and the original line work done in Photoshop.

Here is a bunch of illustrations from some flash games I did last year for Mike D. Working with Mike was a blast! I learned a lot! I cleaned up concepts drawings and designs drawings in illustrator and animation in flash for him too. I’ll post the animations later maybe.
So most these are pre-text cus the text and titles were made in flash or the game engine.

I've not posted my gesture drawings for the last week or so... heres the back work.
tho i've switched over to doing 10 seconds now not the 30s anymore. and there should be like twice as much but i did not get as many days of guessers in this time as i would have liked. i will do better next week!

and im doing some drawings re-working the McFuck Nuggets the squirrel character to put on a new business card. and this is what I've doodled so far.

i did this in the beginning of the year and its in my reel, but it thought it would be nice to put it up as a stand alone animation to show.

i want to add a cut way shot to the aliens getting shot, and maybe change some timing and what have you. but i gota finish my currant projects first :P

This is the little exercise Bruce Lee does in his room before the torment in Enter The Dragon. I love this routine, i use to do all the time when i was in Taekwondo back in high school.

my roomies played this game called Portal not to long ago were you could make little portals that lead to each other. So if you put one on top the other you would fall into them over and over until another force stopped you. Thus my inspiration for this.

I’ve had a desire to play with some 2D animation for a while now, so this morning i finally opened Flash and made a quick animation.

My Reel 2009

This is my new reel.
Work Ive done at Cinematico over the last 2 years.
and some side animations I have done was well.

the Xenomorph animation at the end of my demo reel. I’m still working on.
I’m adding more shots and some sort of tile page.
so it will be its own stand alone animation eventually.

Also I’m doing a few Drawings also inspired my the Alien movies as well.

Hopefully they will be done and up here soon so crosses them fingers and toes!
